Rivers is an Australian owned company that was established in 1981. We are a member of the Austbrokers Group, which is a national network of insurance brokers with a combined premium turnover in excess of $1 billion in general insurance premium, employing over 1,000 people and who operate from over 100 locations, Australia wide.

Each Austbrokers member operates their own autonomous business trading under their own names with the ability to tap into a rich pool of expertise, facilities and support to access a vast range of opportunities particular to the needs for our clients.

In additional to this Austbrokers has formed a joint venture (AIMS) which combines the influence and buying power of the Austbrokers, Advisernet and IBNA networks, which controls over $2.5 billion in insurance premiums. This provides access to not only Australian Insurers and Lloyds, but also many other overseas Insurers.
